West Side Story goes to T & T

Caribbean Theatre Productions (CTP) has undertaken an
awe-inspiring production—the staging of West Side Story, one of the greatest
Broadway musicals of all time. This particular production was chosen as it
is as relevant today as it was in the 1950s and it appeals to all
generations, not only for its compelling story line but because it uses all
genres of the performing arts— singing, dancing and acting. ...Read

Serious Business,
a hilarious Jamaican comedy written by Paul Obeale, starring Keith ‘Shebada’
Ramsey, Volier Johnson, Deon Silvera, and a talented supporting cast that
includes Maxwell Grant, Abigail Grant, Junior Williams, Wayne Newby and
Pinciana Ennis will entertain patrons in the GTA on May 28, 29 & 30.
Serious Business
takes an extremely hilarious yet realistic look at how religion can be
wielded for selfish and sometimes deadly ambitions. It depicts a church
leader (Shepherd) who manipulates some members of the community for
financial gains. This pastor uses experiences from his shady past to guide
his deceitful activities. However, the membership of the church is declining
and his misguided schemes are now in jeopardy.
The church’s co-founder (Elder) tries to help the situation
by promoting another member (brother Shebbie). Brother Shebbie (played by
Keith ‘Shebada’ Ramsey) is a loudmouthed and feisty impostor whose presence
threatens to dethrone Shepherd. Shepherd’s church is also a haven for dark
secrets, mistrust, adultery, bad tempers, and manipulation.
Can they work together to make the situation better, or will
greed cause their undoing? Come and see epic performances from Keith
‘Shebada’ Ramsey, Volier ‘Maffie’ Johnson, and Deon Silver as they lead a
talented and dynamic cast in this delightful play. Serious Business
is filled with creative dramatizations of life in Jamaica and provides
uncontrollable laughter, enjoyment, and knowledge.
Can they work together???

The Most Sheer
Lingerie
A man goes to
Victoria Secret to buy his wife the most sheer lingerie he can find. The
woman behind the counter goes and gets an outfit.
"This is $200," she
says.
"I want one that's more sheer," says he.
"This one is $350."
"I want it even more sheer than that."
"This one is the most sheer that we have. It's $500."
"I'll take it!"
The man goes home to
his wife and shows it to her saying, "Go put this on and come down to
model it for me." His wife goes upstairs, opens the box and thinks, "This
thing is so see-through that the old coot won't even notice if I'm wearing
it or not. I can take this back for a refund and he won't know the
difference."
So his wife comes
out wearing nothing at all and strikes a pose at the top of the stairs.
"So, how do you like
it?" she asks. Her husband then complains, " Well Damn, you'd think for
$500 they'd iron the damn thing!"
Computer-Literate
A woman was helping
her computer-illiterate husband set up his computer.
At the appropriate point in the process, she told him that he would now
need to choose and enter a password -- something he would use to log on.
The husband was in a
rather amorous mood and figured he would try for the
shock effect to bring this to his wife's attention. So, when the computer
asked him to enter his password, he made it plainly obvious to his wife
that he was keying in "p..e..n..i..s".
His wife fell off
her chair laughing when the computer replied:
PASSWORD REJECTED. NOT LONG ENOUGH
